Revising a Document Based Essay

Revising a Document Based EssayWhile revising a document-based essay, a writer should make sure the essay is grammatically correct. However, the writer should not make a mistake that will adversely affect the essay's academic grade. One of the most common mistakes that a student can make is to use the wrong plural of nouns in the wrong gender. Proper nouns should be used and nouns that are used in proper nouns should be used only in proper nouns.Another problem areas that can occur when writing an essay is the use of adverbs. Adverbs can affect a person's ability to comprehend the meaning of a written piece. Therefore, a writer must watch for adverbs and verbs in an essay. A writer must also not use adverbs that will cause a sentence to become longer than it needs to be.A student must practice their writing and acquire good grammar skills if they want to succeed at revising a document-based essay. A writer must make sure that he or she is not using bad grammar. All of the errors in a document-based essay can be fixed by careful revision and editing. This is important because there are many students that have not been taught how to revise a document and are not aware that other quality writers can spot mistakes in a document-based essay before it is printed. A student who has never seen a document before is not able to recognize grammatical errors and has no way of knowing that a small mistake can cause the essay to be rejected. For example, the main subject of a document can cause a major flaw if the writer is unable to correctly differentiate between the main subject and the sub-topic. Themain subject can be easily distinguished because the writer can determine the difference between them. However, for a student who is writing an essay about the cost of a greenhouse, it is imperative that he or she is able to separate the main subject from the sub-topic.If the student is unable to distinguish between the two subjects and causes a major flaw in the essay, a stude nt will most likely end up with a major fail in the essay and a major fail on his or her transcript. The fact that a student can identify and differentiate between the main subject and the sub-topic but is unable to differentiate between the two subjects are quite unfortunate. For this reason, a student should make sure that he or she is able to clearly differentiate between the main subject and the sub-topic before the essay is printed. Students can not expect to have essays printed on time because they do not know how to correctly revise a document-based essay. Therefore, a student must be able to revise a document-based essay before the essay is printed. The fact that a student knows how to correctly revise a document based essay does not mean that he or she knows how to write a good essay. In order to make sure that a student knows how to properly revise a document based essay, a student should make sure that he or she is able to identify the errors in the document.
